The workshop begins with an overview of key research findings and quickly moves into practical ideas you can use right away in your school or classroom no matter your curriculum or approach to literacy: from skill progressions for systematic sequential teaching, to tips for explicit teaching and feedback, to hands-on practice evaluating student work to match students to strategies. You'll also watch excerpts of videos to see strategies coming to life in the classroom during whole class and small group instruction.
